Who am I

While writing my last post, I did some soul-searching and I questioned; “who am I to pontificate on matters of faith or virtue”? When I reviewed some of my previous posts, I noticed a pattern of discussing my absence from church for almost 20 years, my drinking and other daily sins.

So I decided I need to rethink this blog and what it will be about. I will be back soon, but my days of preaching are through. I don’t know how many people have actually read any of my posts; I received very little feedback.

All I can say is I will be back. If you have any suggestions for what you would like me to write about, my interests are sports, personal life stories, sea stories or just plain fiction.

If  you would like to comment of give me a suggestion for the direction of this blog, you can leave a comment or email me at mumbles@mumbles.me.

Mumbles; First of all, don’t beat yourself up about your previous blogs, they are great. It’s very seldom that you see such unabashed honesty and the baring of the soul. I’m not sure that there are many out there who would do what you’ve done. I’ve read each and every one of your previous blogs and found them entertaining and heart warming. Sometimes I leave a message, most times I don’t, but I’ve still read them all. As I’ve read them, it doesn’t take much imagination to put me in your place. So, my friend, don’t feel that you have to change unless you want to. Love and Peace. Rich Quinn

Mumbles, please don’t stop your writings. I do get so much from each of your epistles. As we all know, church is a hospital for sinners, not for the perfect. We all struggle at times in our lives. Just keep the faith and please continue to share! God loves all of us.
