Sometimes when you are feeling down, maybe your sick or maybe just a case of the blues. Or, sometime you don’t feel loved, your spouse is mad at you or the kids haven’t call you in a while. What ever it may be, there is a quote that always makes me feel warm and fuzzy, mostly because I know it’s true.
“If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning… Face it, friend. He is crazy about you!” – Max Lucado
The bible tell us to love Jesus as a child loves Him. And in Mark 10:13-16 we hear this:
“13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”
I remember when I was in Christian Day School, as a youngster I loved the stories of Jesus, they always made me feel so good.
Why is it then that as we get older, we feel we have to love Him as an adult; or even lose that loving feeling altogether? If you want to get that warm and fuzzy feeling again, let your inhibitions go, and love Jesus as a child.
Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong, they are weak but He is strong.
God’s Blessings to you all!
