So, Easter is over, it’s time to get back to normal… or is it?
What is normal anyway? Go to work, do the laundry, feed the kids or whatever.
Hate your neighbor, bully the weak, rob the convenience store, or embezzle from your job.
It’s amazing how at the religious holidays, we get all sanctimonious and we pretend love for our fellow man, but once the religious holiday is over, we get right back to our daily sinful lives. We do it at Easter and Christmas, we do it for Hannukah or Rosh Hashanah, or any other religious holiday.
So how do we change our sinful ways? How about living the scripture that goes with each of those holidays, but on a daily basis. After all Christ said to love one another, not just on holidays, but everyday. Because if we truly love someone, it’s hard to hurt them.
Let’s love one another… everyday.
God’s love and peace
